Refer to cleaning guidelines for your state or territory.
• Clean first with water and detergent, then disinfect to kill germs on the cleaned surfaces
• Open windows to let fresh air circulate
• Clean and disinfect all surfaces your guests may come into contact with, including door handles, light switches, remote controls, appliances, key lock box, stair railings, guest information folder, brochures and menus
• Clean from clean to dirty areas and use separate cloths or paper towels.
• Run all crockery and cutlery through the dishwasher on the hottest setting
• Machine wash all linen at the highest temperature including linen that doesn’t look used. Avoid shaking dirty laundry
• Remember to clean and disinfect all cleaning equipment
• To help your guests stay safe during their stay, you could also provide hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial soap for your guests to use
You can reassure your guests that you’re committed to their safety, by upgrading your cleaning standards to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
